The Twilight Samurai (Tasogare Seibei)
Seibei Iguchi, a lowly samurai in 19th century Japan, lives a simple life as a bureaucratic employee. A widow with two children and a senile mother, she works hard in the fields for a bite of rice. His life changes when Tomoe, his old love, returns after divorcing his abusive husband. However, amidst the collapse of the feudal system, Seibei is shackled by the samurai code of honor and social norms. Will he choose happiness or sacrifice everything for the sake of duty?
